Welcome to Anderson Heart & Vascular, PC

WE ARE A PRACTICE DEDICATED TO THE EARLY DETECTION AND AGGRESSIVE MANAGEMENT OF CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE IN ADULTS.

Based in Anderson, SC, we are proud to be the first outpatient-based endovascular lab in the Upstate, offering a range of procedures. These procedures include peripheral angiography, which is the imaging of non-heart arteries with contrast to detect blockages, along with catheter-based therapies such as atherectomy, angioplasty, and stenting. We also offer imaging and therapies for carotid arteries, renal and mesenteric (intestinal) arteries, and upper extremity arteries.

In-office treatments like these have been a welcome change to the fields of cardiology and vascular surgery as they allow patients to have safe and effective procedures in a more convenient, cost-effective setting without having to make a trip to the hospital.

A Team You
Can Trust

  • At Anderson Heart and Vascular, PC, we don’t just treat arteries and veins – we treat the whole patient. One of the most important services we offer is advanced wound care. Chronic wounds, particularly those caused by diabetes, poor circulation, or venous insufficiency, are more than just skin deep.

    LEARN MORE

  • Carotid angiography is the injection of contrast to evaluate the degree of stenosis or narrowing of the carotid arteries, which can lead to stroke, and to then assess the best method of treatment.

    LEARN MORE

  • Dialysis access is the insertion and maintenance of dialysis catheters, as well as de-clotting and angioplasty/stenting of arm fistulas and grafts used for dialysis.

    LEARN MORE

  • An echocardiogram uses sound waves to produce images of the heart. This test allows your doctor to see how well your heart is squeezing and to identify abnormalities with the heart muscle and valves.

    LEARN MORE

  • Nuclear stress tests are done to determine blood flow to the heart muscle and its pump function, therefore detecting the presence of cardiovascular disease and the potential of future heart attacks.

    LEARN MORE

  • Peripheral angiography is the injection of contrast to evaluate for peripheral arterial disease, or the narrowing of arteries in the arms and legs, along with indicated procedures such as angioplasty or stenting to open the blockages.

    LEARN MORE

  • Peripheral ultrasounds are used to assess narrowing or blockages in the arteries and veins of the arms and legs. These are the main arteries in the neck that provides blood to the brain.

    LEARN MORE

  • These exams are non-invasive diagnostic procedures used to evaluate blood flow in the arteries supplying your kidneys (renal arteries) and intestines (mesenteric arteries). These studies help us identify and monitor conditions that can significantly affect your health, including renal artery stenosis (narrowing of the kidney arteries) and mesenteric ischemia (reduced blood flow to the intestines).

    LEARN MORE

  • Renal angiography is the injection of contrast for renal or kidney artery narrowing along with any indicated angioplasty or stent.

    LEARN MORE

  • A stress echocardiogram is used to obtain ultrasound pictures of your heart at rest and immediately after exercise. An echocardiogram uses sound waves to produce images of the heart. This test allows your doctor to see how well your heart is squeezing and to identify abnormalities with the heart muscle and valves.
